READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING, OPERATING OR SERVICING THIS EQUIPMENT.

It is the responsibility of the employer to place this information in the hands of the operator. Keep for future reference.

OPERATING PRECAUTIONS

Do not exceed maximum working pressure of 600 p.s.i. ￿41 bar￿.

Do not drop or leave control handle on floor.

Disconnect pump power source and relieve all pressure from sysH tem when not in use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: A small amount of lubricant will leak from control handle after it has been used and the trigger is released. This is because this lubricant is already past the non-drip valve seat. The non-drip nozzle should be closed after each use to prevent this.

Be sure to open the non-drip nozzle before using and close it after using. To open, turn nozzle so sealing plunger recedes into nozzle.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Should no lubricant be dispensed even though the trigger is operH ated, be sure the non-drip nozzle is open and that the lubricant is being supplied to the control handle.

Should lubricant leak from the control handle under the trigger, tighten ￿15￿ gland. If valve continues to leak at this point, remove the trigger and gland and replace ￿13￿ ``U￿ cup packing.

Should lubricant flow from the control handle even though the trigH ger is not depressed, remove ￿1￿ valve seat and check for any forH eign matter or damage to seat.

Remove ￿7￿ valve and disc assembly and check the disc; if worn, replace ￿6￿ disc assembly with a new one.
