The singer's voice will be cut out when you sing into the microphone. Once you stop singing, the singer's voice will be resumed.

jarring can cause the disc to skip.

• Is the lens or CD excessively dirty?

 

• Is the unit subject to excessive vibration?

Tape Care

To prevent accidental erasure

Use a screwdriver or pointed tool to break off the plastic tabs.

Cleaning the tape heads

To maintain optimum sound quality, clean the recording playback heads, erase h e a d , p i n c h r o l l e r s a n d c a p s t a n s regularly (every 10 hours of use). Use a cotton swab lightly moistened with cleaning fluid or denatured alcohol.

RECORDING FROM MICROPHONE MIXING SOUND

• Is the TV set on mute mode?

Cover the tab openings with cellulose tape.

Press the STOP button.

Usable disc

Use a disc with GRAPHIC or CDG marked on its jacket.

When playing a disc other than CDG with a video image (CD-V, CD-I etc.), the video image will not shown on the TV set.

Note

The video image remains when the player stops, until the next operation starts.

Note

While you operate searching or pause function, an unusual image may be displayed on the TV set. This does not indicate a malfunction. The image will be recorded a few seconds later after you press PLAY button to resume playback again.

If the color video images of a nearby television changes while this unit is operating, move this unit further away from the television.
