HOUSE CURRENT

Before use, check that the rated voltage of your unit matches your local voltage.

Caution:

To prevent electrical shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.

TV CONNECTION

When the unit is connected to a TV set of either NTSC or PAL color system, the video image from a CD-G (CD graphics) can be shown on the TV set.

Sound from the disc is heard from the speakers of this unit.

Only a TV set with the VIDEO input jack can be connected to watch graphics.

CONNECTION (A) - FOR ALL TV SETS WITH AUDIO AND VIDEO JACKS Connect the AUDIO and VIDEO jack of the unit to the AUDIO and VIDEO input jack of the TV set with the connection cable supplied.

ON PLACEMENT

Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid.

Place the unit on a flat and even surface.

Do not restrict the air flow of the unit by placing it in a place with poor air flow, by covering it with a cloth, or by placing it on a carpet.

Never obstruct the ventilation holes on the rear panel, as increased internal temperature may affect the electric parts. In particular, do not place the system in an airtight rack.

If using the system near television or radio, interference may occur. Move this system away.

Before use, check that the rated voltage of your unit matches your local voltage.

ON SAFETY

When connecting or disconnecting the AC cord, grip the plug but not the cord itself. Pulling the cord may damage it and thus be hazardous.

Disconnect from the AC mains, when the unit is not going to be used for some time.

If the AC lead is broken or damaged or if the copper wires are exposed, contact a qualified engineer to replace.

BATTERIES

Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC inlet of the unit. Battery power

is cut automatically when it is
