OPERATION
CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE
This unit has two microphone jacks which will allow you to sing along with your favorite songs. Before connecting, make sure the MIC VOLUME controls are set to minimum.

Rotate the ECHO control clock- wise to increase the echo or counterclockwise to decrease the echo.
When connected to an external TV, slide this switch to the CAMERA position to see the image from the camera on the external TV. During playback of a CD+G disc, slide to the CDG position to see the song’s lyrics on the external TV.
To turn the microphone on, slide the ON/OFF switch, located on the side of the microphone, to the ON position. To turn the microphone off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. For the sound effect microphone, please refer to pages 15 and 16.
NOTE: During playback of a CD or CD+G disc, the camera's images can still be observed on an external TV if the CDG/CAMERA switch on the rear of the unit is set to the CAMERA position.

NORMAL PLAYBACK:
Rotate the BALANCE control clockwise to decrease the left speaker’s sound or counter- clockwise to decrease the right speaker’s sound.
KARAOKE PLAYBACK:
Rotate the BALANCE control clockwise to decrease the music sound or counterclockwise to decrease the vocal sound level.
When the vocal feature is activated, the vocals on a multiplex recording are muted as soon as the singer begins singing into the microphone. When the singer stops singing, the vocals are automatically unmuted. Adjust the AVC control for the best balance between playback and microphone levels.
IMPORTANT: This feature only works with multiplex CDs.
