Vous pouvez maintenant retirer un tube du brûleur pour inspection.

S’il y a de la poussière ou de la saleté sur les écrans, brossez délicatement le(s) écran(s) contre les araignée/ insectes avec une brosse à poil doux (exemple: une vieille brosse à dent).

ATTENTION: Ne nettoyez pas l’écran contre les araignée/ insectes avec des outils dures ou tranchants. Ne délogez pas l’écran contre les araignée/insectes ou n’agrandissez pas les ouvertures de l’écran.

Si l’écran contre les araignée/insectes s’endommage ou ne peut pas être nettoyé, appelez le service à la clientèle chez Ducane au 1-800-382-2637 pour des pièces de remplacement.

Pour assembler de nouveau, inversez les étapes 2 à 4 de la page précédente.

Nettoyage des Grilles anti araignées/insectes

Votre barbecue à gaz Ducane®, comme tout appareil à gaz d’extérieur, constitue une cible pour les araignées et les autres insectes. Ceux-ci peuvent faire leur nid dans la section du diffuseur (1) des tubes du brûleur. Ceci obstrue le débit normal du gaz, et peut provoquer le retour du gaz vers l’obturateur d’air. Ceci pourrait provoquer un incendie à l’intérieur et à proximité des obturateurs d’air, au-dessous du panneau de commande, provoquant des détériorations graves de votre barbecue.

L’obturateur d’air du tube du brûleur est équipé d’une grille en acier inoxydable (2) afin d’empêcher les araignées et les autres insectes d’accéder aux tubes du brûleur à travers les ouvertures des obturateurs d’air.

Nous vous recommandons d’inspecter les Grilles anti araignées/insectes au moins une fois par an. De même, inspectez et nettoyez les Grilles anti araignées/insectes si vous constatez l’un des symptômes suivant :

1.L’odeur du gaz en association avec un aspect jaune et peu mobile des flammes du brûleur.

2.Le barbecue n’atteint pas la température.

3.Le barbecue ne chauffe pas uniformément.

4.Un ou plusieurs brûleurs ne s’allume(nt) pas.

DANGER: Le fait de ne pas corriger les symptômes mentionnés ci-dessus peut entraîner un incendie, susceptible de provoquer des blessures graves ou la mort, et provoquer des dommages à la propriété.

Aspect de la flamme du brûleur principal

Les brûleurs du barbecue à gaz Ducane® ont été réglés en usine pour le mélange correct d’air et de gaz. L’aspect de flamme correct est présenté.

2.Les extrémités vacillent en jaune de temps à autre

3.Légèrement bleue

4.Bleu foncée

Si les flammes ne semblent pas uniformes tout au long du tube du brûleur, appliquez la procédure de nettoyage du brûleur principal.
