Does burner light with a match?
If match lights burner, checkigniter (see below).
Side Burner maintenance
WARNING: All gas controls and supply valves should be in the OFF position.
Make sure wire is connected between the igniter and electrode. Adjust igniter electrode to burner. Gap should be 1/8 to 3/16 inch from tip of electrode to burner. Spark should be a white/blue color, not yellow.
