INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your new appliance, please read this user guide carefully before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions. We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference, so that you can remind yourself of the functions of your appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

General

Incorrect use of this appliance may cause personal injury and damage.

Use for its intended purpose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).

For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or commercial use.

Only connect the adapter cord to 230 V,

50 Hz.

Do not immerse the appliance, cord or adapter in water or any other liquid and make sure no water enters the appliance.

This symbol [] means that the appliance cannot be used in the bath tub or near water, wash basins, bowls or the like.

We recommend you only use this appliance if the installation is protected by an HFI-/HPFI relay. Please contact a qualified electrician if in doubt.

Always disconnect from the mains and switch off the appliance at the on/off switch before cleaning.

Be careful with the cutting head when cleaning or lubricating it, as it is very sharp.

Never leave unattended when in use, and keep an eye on children.

Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances.

Only use the appliance in ambient temperatures of 10-40°C. Avoid exposing the appliance to temperatures below -10°C or above +40°C for an extended period of time.

Do not use if the cutting head is damaged, as it may cut the skin.

Check regularly that neither the cord nor the adapter is damaged and do not use if there is any damage, or if it has been dropped on the floor, dropped in water or damaged in any other way.

If the appliance, cord or adapter has been damaged, have the appliance inspected and if necessary repaired by an authorised repairer. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Please contact the store where you bought the appliance for repairs under the guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee.
