OPERATION

To use the equipment for the first time, or after stor- ing it for an extended period, be sure to clean and sterilize all necessary parts as described on page 8.

Always unplug this product and turn off the switch at bottom before filling and after use.

1. FILL WATER RESERVOIR

a.Remove the top cover and medication cup.

b.Fill water reservoir with tap water or distilled water to

correct level (between 2 lines in water reservoir).

Note:

1.Use water at room temperature (20 - 30° C).

2.Use of cool water (below 20° C) will result lower nebulization rate.

3.For higher nebulization rate, use warm water (over

30° C).

Caution:

1.Do not use solutions other than water for the res- ervoir. It may damage the transducer.

2.Make sure the water level is between 2 lines in the reservoir.

2. FILL MEDICATION CUP

a.Replace medication cup on water reservoir.

b.Fill medication directly into medication cup.

c.Replace top cover.

Caution:

1.Do not fill more than 8 ml, otherwise the nebuliza- tion rate will be very weak.

2.Use medications only under instructions of your physician.

3.PLUG IN THE POWER CORD

Follow the correct sequence below.

a.First connect adapter’s plug to the unit’s power re- ceptacle.

b.Then plug the adapter into an AC outlet.

Note:

1.Unit can also be operated with battery pack only.

2.As soon as the AC adapter is connected to unit’s receptacle, the power from battery pack will be cut off.
