•If you wish to discontinue measurement before completion, press the air release valve until ( 
) appears and turn off the monitor. Should you, however, forget to turn the monitor off, it will automatically switch off after 5 minutes.
•An intervall of at least 2 – 3 minutes should be made between two successive readings, otherwise the blood flow of the arm could be constricted, which would distort the results of the reading.
•The monitor should be turned off after each reading, in order to avoid unnecessary drain on the batteries.
