MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE

4Pull the end of the arm cuff

outwards so that the cuff is snug around your arm and then secure the end to the Velcro.

5Place your arm on a table or the like so that the center of the cuff comes to the height of your

heart.

* Carefully place the cuff on your

 

arm, taking care to use the correct

 

tightness. The tightness is correct

 

if you can readily slide a fi nger

 

between the cuff and your arm.

6Relax your arm and lightly open the palm upward.
