The Shoprider 6Runner Powerchairs are designed to operate on two 12 volt/36Ah or 75Ah sealed lead acid aka SLA (AGM or
•Active users: Charge daily
•Occasional users: Charge your battery before any outing and always after active use.
*Keeping the batteries charged extends the life of the batteries* SLA batteries should be kept fully charged at all times. They must not be left in a discharged state if the unit is not being used for some time or the batteries will be permanently damaged and will no longer hold a charge. The SLA batteries should be checked once a month and kept charged as needed. Typically SLA batteries have up to about 400 charging cycles.
