After you have had your Jazzy for an extended period of time, you may find the need to make a few adjustments. Some of these adjustments may degrade your Jazzy’s performance by changing its center of gravity.

WARNING If your Jazzy was configured at your authorized Pride provider, please consult your healthcare professional before changing the seat position or making any other adjustment. Some adjustments may degrade your Jazzy’s performance and safety by changing its center of gravity.

SEAT HEIGHT AND SEAT ANGLE

You can change the seat height by raising or lowering the seat towers. You can change the seat angle by raising or lowering either the front two towers or the back two towers only.

To change the seat height:

1.Remove the seat.

2.Remove the ball detent pins in each of the four seat posts. You may need to remove the battery cases to access one or more of these pins. See VII. “Disassembly.”

3.Move the seat posts to desired height and reinsert ball detent pins.

4.If you wish to change the seat angle, change the height of only one set (either front or back) of seat towers.

5.Reinstall the seat.

To change the seat angle:

1.Remove the seat hinge bolts with a 5/32-in. hex key and a 7/16-in. wrench. See figure 7.

2.Adjust seatback to desired angle and reinsert the seat hinge bolts.

3.Tighten bolts with the hex key and wrench.
