The MK5-DPJ joystick has two programmable drive selection modes: Drive 1 and Drive 2. To select Drive 1 mode, the toggle switch must be placed in the UP position. To select Drive 2 mode, the tog- gle switch is placed in the MIDDLE position. The mode switch LED indicator light will be OFF when the wheelchair is placed in either drive mode. To put the controller in the power positioning mode* (ECU/Recline), the mode switch must be pressed. The LED indicator light will be turned ON while in the power positioning mode. To operate the power positioning functions, the joystick can be moved in the forward, reverse, left and right directions. (Note: power positioning functions may be assigned to the joystick directions depending on the seating system). To return to the drive selection mode, the mode switch must be pressed again until the LED indicator light is OFF.

*Please Note: The DPJ Joystick is a basic model joystick and has limited programming capabilities for power positioning. Please refer to the Invacare Manual for complete programming instructions.
