■Procedures to set to Zero
zUsed in order to set the weight display to “0 g” when it is not set to “0 g” even though there is noting on the platform.
■Procedures to Set up and Release the Tare: Used when scaling liquid or grain type substances that require a container.
zCases when the container weight is not known.
1.Place the container on the platform.
2.Push the “Tare” key when the weighing is stable.
3.Check the lighting of Tare.
zCases when the container weight is known.
1.Input the container weight using the number keys.
2.Push the “Tare” key.
3.Place the container on the platform.
4.Check the lighting of Tare.
zRelease the Tare
1.Remove the container from the platform.
2.Push the “Tare” key.
3.Look at the light of Tare to check if the light is turned off.
*By setting the tare, weight display will show the scaled product weight excluding the container weight.
*Use after resetting the tare when the container weight has been changed.

zIf the “Shortage Unit Wt.” LCD Is turned on, it means that the unit weight of the scaled product is within the “Unit Weight Short” range
zInaccuracy may result when measured in a condition with both “Short Q’ty” and “Short Unit Wt.” LCD turned on. Therefore, scale in a condition when both LCDs are completely turned off.
