Kambrook Recommends Safety First

IMPORTANT: Please retain your instruction book for future use.

At Kambrook, we believe that safe performance is the first priority in any consumer product, so that you, our valued customer can confidently use and trust our products. We ask that any electrical appliance that you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention placed on the following important operating instructions.

Important Safeguards For Your Kambrook Hang-Up Hair Dryer

Use only on 230-240 volt AC, 50Hz mains voltage.

This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely.

Do not allow liquids to spill on the plug or cord. Do not use where it can fall or be pulled into water. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off and unplug immediately. Do not use this appliance out of doors.

Do not use with an extension cord.

NEVER use while bathing or showering or standing on a damp floor, or while your hands or the unit are wet.

Do not use on any wet surface or any soft surface, such as a bed, where the unit may be covered.

Always switch off and remove the plug whenever the unit is not in use.

Always turn the power off at the power outlet before removing the plug. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.

Clean carefully with a soft, moist cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly before connecting to the power outlet.

Do not store whilst hot or whilst connected to the power outlet.

To avoid overheating, do not block any openings of the hair dryer.

Never probe any opening to remove fluff or hair. On regular occasions, disconnect the unit from the power supply and use a vacuum cleaner to clean.

Do not leave small objects such as clips or pins where they can enter the unit and cause a safety hazard.

Do not allow the unit or the cord to contact any hot surface, or to trail over the edge of a bench.

Do not use accessory attachments, other than those supplied by the manufacturer.

Do not direct hot air towards the eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.

Avoid use on or near heat sensitive material, synthetic wigs or hair pieces, where aerosol products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

Never operate the appliance with a damaged plug or cord, or after it has been damaged or dropped or immersed in water. Return the unit to your nearest Kambrook Service Centre or Authorised Service Agent for inspection and if necessary, repair.
