Troubleshooting guide

Before requesting service, make the below checks. If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies indicated in the chart do not solve the problem, contact Panasonic Canada Inc. Customer Care Centre at 905-624-5505, or visit the website (www.panasonic.ca), or an authorized Servicentre closest to you.

n Common problems		Pages
No power.	• Ensure the AC power supply cord is connected.	5
	• Turn the volume up.	10
	• Check connections to speakers and other equipment.	4-7
No sound.	• Select the correct source.	10
	• Turn on the speakers.	10
	• Change the D-INPUT setting to suit the type of connection you have made.	8
	• Check that the digital signals can be decoded by this unit.	10
	• Turn PCM FIX or DTS FIX off.	8, 17
	• Determine and correct the cause, then turn the unit on.
Sound stops. “F 76” or	Causes include:
	− Shorting (bare wires touching) of positive and negative speaker wires.	5
“OVERLOAD” appears on the
	− Using speakers with an impedance lower than that rated for this unit.	5
