Please note the following instructions when using the appliance:

7The appliance is designed for do- mestic use only.

7Never use the appliance in the bath, shower or over a wash basin filled with water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.

7Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.

7If the appliance is used in the bath- room, it is essential that the power plug is pulled out after use, as any water close to the appliance can still pose a hazard, even if the ap- pliance is switched off.

7Check if the mains voltage on the type plate (on the handle of the appliance) corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.

7If not already in use, for additional protection it is recommended to install a residual current- operated protective device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the elec- trical circuit of your bathroom. Ask your plumber for advice.

7Never cover the appliance, for example with a towel.

7The appliance can become very hot. Never leave your hair be- tween the ceramic plates for more than a few seconds.

7The outer surface of the appliance may get hot in long time usages, in this case do not touch with your hands and allow it to cool.

7Do not allow the hot styling plates to come into contact with your face, neck or head.

7Pull out the power plug after use. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord. Place the ap- pliance on a heat resistant surface and allow it to cool.

7Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is visibly damaged.
