Yahoo! Messenger with Voice

Launch Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Go to Messenger > Preferences. Then, under the Category pane, select Calling & Audio. Note: Yahoo! Messenger with voice may not yet available for Mac users. However, when it becomes available, the HNT1A will support the voice call function.

AIM and Other messaging clients

For AIM:

AIM does not support the option to select which audio device to specify for voice chatting within the program. Thus, in order to use the USB Phone, you will need to change the default audio device for outputting sound from the computer. (See Chapter 3a: Specifying an Audio Playback Device.)

Note: This change will bypass your computer’s soundcard and speakers and output audio straight to the handset. Thus, no sound will come out of your computer speakers.

To make these changes, go to System Preferences (a) and double-click Sound
