Call barring service: With this network service you can restrict calls that are made and received with your phone. Select one of the barring options and set the option on (Activate) or off (Cancel), or check whether the barring option is activated (Status).

Note: When calls are barred, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number).

Fixed dialling: You can restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers, if allowed by your SIM card. Select Numbers to check the phone numbers (Search), add new numbers to the fixed dialling list (Add name) or clear the list (Erase all).

Note: When Fixed Dialling is set on, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number).

Closed user group: This network service specifies a group of people to whom you can call and who can call you. Select Default to set the phone to use the group that you have agreed with your service provider. For more information, contact your network operator or service provider.

Note: When calls are limited to Closed User Groups, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 112 or other official emergency number).

Phone security: You can set the phone to ask for the security code when a new SIM card is inserted in the phone (option On). When you change this setting, the phone numbers in the menus 4-1 to 4-3 are cleared.

Change access codes: You can change the security code, PIN code, PIN2 code, or barring password. These codes can include the numbers 0 to 9 only.

Note: Avoid using access codes similar to emergency numbers, such as 112, to prevent accidental dialling of the emergency number.

Restore factory settings (Menu 6-4)

You can reset some of the menu settings to their original values. This function has no effect, for example, on the names and phone numbers saved in the phone book.
