Consider the following before you select a location for the Base Unit:
•The Base Unit can be placed on a desk or tabletop near a telephone line jack and a 120V AC outlet.
•The Base Unit can also be mounted on a standard AT&T or GTE wall plate using the supplied

This Base Unit and Battery Charger each require a 120V AC outlet. DO NOT use an outlet controlled by a switch. The larger AC Adapter connects to the Base Unit; the smaller Adapter, with the yellow ring on the connector, connects to the Battery Charger.
The AC adapters have a polarized line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the the power outlet only one way. If the plug will not fit into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the AC Adapter cannot be plugged into the outlet, contact an electrician about replacing the outlet.
Place the power cord so that it does not create a trip hazard, or where it could become worn and create a fire or other electrical hazard.

The Superset 4090 base can be mounted on a standard AT&T or GTE wall plate or directly on a wall. The charger unit can also be mounted directly on a wall.
Standard Wall Mounting (Base)
1.Slide the wall mount stand into the notches at the top of the base, rotate the stand downward, and then snap it into place.
2.Plug the AC adapter and the short telephone cord (not supplied) into the base.
3.Insert the cords into the channelson the bottom of the wall mount stand.
4.Plug the other end of the telephone cord into the wall jack.
5. Place the base on the wall plate posts and push down until it is firmly seated.
6. Plug the AC adapter into a 120 VAC wall outlet.
