8 - PAUSE FUNCTION

Allows you to insert a temporary pause during dialing sequence.

For example, dialing an international number (eg: 00-886-22-795-1234), some PBX systems will not register the entire number entry without a pause between the prefix numbers.

You may have to dial 00 P, dial 886 P.

This allows adequate timing for the phone number to register with the PBX system and complete the call. In case of difficulty, contact your PBX manufacturer or installer.

9 - R (RECALL) FUNCTION

Press R button to terminate a call and institute dialing tone for another call or to get another call from “Call Waiting” (a special telephone service).

NOTE: If you do not have special telephone services from your operator, such as Call Waiting, pressing R button during a call may disconnect your current conversation.
