Channel busy indicator

The red LED will flash twice per second to indicate that the channel is in use.

Call tone

Press the “CALL” button to transmit your call tone, alerting users on the same channel and code that you are about to talk. Your radio has 10 call tones to choose from. Setting the call tone to 0 disables this feature.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Channels 5 and 35 are emergency channels. Channel 11 is a calling channel. Channels 22 and 23 are for Telemetry and Telecommand use, voice communications are not allowed on these channels by law.
