MOUNTING DIRECTLY ON A WALL

Mounting the base directly on the wall requires three screws (not sup- plied) with heads that fit into the base’s keyhole slots.

1.Mark the location of the mount- ing holes using the supplied template.

2.Drill a hole at each marked loca- tion, then thread a screw into each hole, letting the heads extend 1/8 inch from the wall (about the width of two stacked pennies).

3.Insert the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug into the DC 9V jack on the bottom of the base.

(illus)

4.Plug one end of the supplied modular cord into the LINE jack on the bottom of the base.

6.Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet.

7.Plug the modular cord’s other end into a modular phone line jack.
