We do not expect you have any problems with your telephone, but if you do, the following sug- gestions might help.

Move the handset closer to the base.

 

 

 

Raise the base’s antenna to a vertical position.

 

 

 

Ensure the phone’s modular cord and the AC adapter are cor-

 

rectly and securely connected.

 

 

 

Recharge the handset’s battery pack.

 

 

 

Return the handset to the base for about 5 seconds to reset the

 

security access-protection code.

 

 

Call is noisy.

Keep the handset and the base away from interference sources

 

such as computers, remote control toys, wireless alarm systems,

 

wireless intercoms and room monitors, fluorescent lights, and

 

electrical appliances.

 

 

 

If the interference is severe, turn off the interfering device.

 

 

 

Move the handset closer to the base.

 

 

 

Hang up and redial the number.

 

 

 

Press CH to change the channel.

 

 

The range decreases.
