About once a month, fully discharge the battery by keeping the handset off the base or charger until LOW BATTERY stays lit. Otherwise, the battery pack loses its ability to fully recharge.

If you are not going to use your phone for an extended period, disconnect the battery pack. This increases the battery pack’s usable life.

If you have trouble installing the battery pack, take the handset to your local RadioShack store for assistance.

Warning:

Dispose of old battery packs promptly and properly.

Do not burn or bury them.

There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced by the wrong type.

Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
