WALKIE TALKIE

This feature allows a pair of handsets to be used like walkie talkies (electrical power to the base unit is not required for walkie talkie operation). This setting may be made with the handset only. Make sure the handset is at the main menu.

1.Press the cid/vol (up or down arrow) button to move the arrow to

WALKIE TALKIE.

DEREGISTRATION

WALKIE TALKIE

OKEXIT

2.Press the OK soft key and WALKIETALKIE ENABLE? shows in the display.

3.Press the OK soft key and WALKIETALKIE ENABLED followed by WALKIE TALKIE HANDSET# shows in the display.

NOTE: Both handsets must be in walkie talkie mode to send and receive.

4.Press the page/int button, and then enter the handset number/extension you want to call. The selected handset is paged. When the page/int button on the receiving handset is pressed, and the page is answered, the walkie talkie feature is activated between both handsets. Both handsets display WALKIETALKIE WITH HANDSET #.
