Dial tone is OK but can’t dial out

Make sure the TONE/PULSE setting on the handset is set to the type of phone service you are subscribed to.

Handset/Base does not ring

Make sure the handset ringer is turned on and the base ringer is programmed to HIGH.

The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.

You may have too many extension phones on your line. Try unplugging some phones.

Check for dial tone.

You experience static, noise, or fading in and out

The cordless handset may be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.

Relocate the base. Make sure base is not plugged into an outlet with another household appliance.

Charge the battery.

Unit beeps

Place the handset in the cradle for 20 seconds. If it still beeps, charge battery for 12 hours.

Clean charging contacts on cordless handset and charger with a soft cloth or an eraser.

Replace the battery.
