With the optiPoint 400 IP phones, there are no problems involved in using internet pro- tocol for voice communication on the LAN.

The optiPoint 400 standard/economy supports various systems and can therefore be operated in widely differing environ- ments. The optiPoint 400 standard/economy SIP will be used by those whose IP infra- structure comes from an outside provider and gives them the benefit of a high-perfor- mance IP phone. Both models have a big advantage if you move offices: you simply plug in, enter your number, password and carry on using the phone as before.
