The Answering Machine (830R)

Personal Message - MEMO

MEMO – is a personal message recorded directly onto the answering machine without dialling. This means that the machine may be used as an electronic notebook, where messages, reminders or other notes to family members or colleagues can be recorded. Each MEMO can be recorded for up to 2 minutes.

1.Press

2.The total number of (new) recorded ICM’s will now be announced.

3.Press 8 to stop playback.

4.Press 4 2 and record your MEMO message.

5.Press 8 to stop recording.

Call Screening

Incoming messages (ICM’s) can be heard (screened) on the handset loudspeaker as they are received. Press s while the ICM is being recorded. You can also press Q to speak directly to the caller.

If you are answering the call from another telephone, press # # to terminate recording.

Day/Time Stamp

The answering machine has a voice function that announces the day and time when each message (ICM) was recorded.

1.Press w

2.Scroll using <</>> until a flashes in the display. Press 0

3.The display will show 1/5. Scroll using <</>> until the correct day of the week is displayed (1=Monday, 2=Tuesday…..7=Sunday). Press 0

4.The display will show 2/5. Enter correct time (HR:MIN) using the telephone keypad. (24 hour display)

5.Press 0 to confi rm setting and move to the next programming sequence, alternatively.

6.Press w to exit the Menu system.
