7Getting to know your phone

Handset and charger

Earpiece / receiver

Display with orange backlight Backlight comes on when you receive a call or when any button is pressed.

Secrecy / Clear / Back In talk mode, press to switch secrecy (mute) on/off.

In entry mode, press to delete digits.

In menu mode, press to move back to the previous screen or press and hold to exit and return to standby.

When viewing the Calls list/Redial list, press to delete the displayed entry or press and hold to delete all entries.

Redial / Scroll Up / Volume + In standby mode, use to redial any of the last 20 numbers called.

When dialling/storing a number, press to enter a pause.

In talk mode, press to increase the handset volume.

Use to scroll up through the phonebook, redial list and Calls list.

Talk In standby mode, press to make or receive calls.

In talk mode, press to end a call.

Calls / Scroll Down / Volume -

In standby mode, press to open the Calls list.

In talk mode, press to decrease the handset volume.

Use to scroll down through the phonebook, redial list and Calls list.

* / Keypad lock Switch temporarily from pulse to tone dialling.

From standby, press and hold to lock the keypad.
