Handset Name
The 8012 handset can be given a name. This is useful if more than one handset is registered to a base. To set the handset name:
1.Press the Menu soft key.
2.Press

repeatedly to choose HS Settings.
3.Press the Select soft key.
4.Use 
or 
to choose HS Name.
5.Press the Select soft key.
6.Enter the name (up to 12 characters) using the keypad. Use the Erase soft key to correct any mistakes.
7.Press the Save soft key.
8.The handset name will display above the handset number in standby mode.
