Tuner Operations

IMPORTANT!

Make sure FM and MW antennas are connected.

Tuning to radio stations

1Press SOURCE key on the front panel repeatedly until “FM XX” or “MW XX” appears on the display panel ( or press TUNER key on the remote control).

2Press and hold 1 / ¡ on the system or on the remote control until “SERACH->”appeared, then release.

The first radio station with sufficient signal strength will appear on the display.

3To tune to a weak station, press 1 / ¡ on the system or on the remote control to search until a radio station with sufficient signal strength is found.

Presetting radio stations

You can store up to 40 preset radio stations in the memory, starting from FM and followed by MW bands.There are three different ways to program the radio stations:

-Using auto install (for first time setup only)

-Automatic preset programming

-Manual preset programming

Note:

-If no stereo signal is detected during tuner installation, “ NO SIGNAL PLEASE CHECK ANT” will appear on the VFD.

Using auto install

When you plug in the unit for the very first time, you will be prompted to install the radio stations. With this feature, you can install all the available tuner station automatically with one touch of button.

When “ AUTO INSTALL PRESS PLAY” appears,

Press 38 on the system,

The system starts searching from the FM band followed by the MW band.

All the available radio stations with strong signal will be strored automatically.

When all the available radio stations are stored or the memory for 40 presets are used, the first preset radio station will be played.

Automatic preset programming

You can start automatic presetting from a selected preset number.

1Press TUNER key to select TUNER mode. The current radio frequency will appear on the display.

To begin automatic preset from a desired preset number

Press O / P or numeric keys (0-9) to select the desired preset number.

2Press and hold PROG on the remote control (or press PROGRAM on the system) until “>>> AUTO ” appears on the display.

The system will start to search all radio stations on the FM band, then MW band.

All radio stations with strong signal strength will be stored automatically.

The system will stop searching when all available radio stations are stored or when the memory of 40 preset radio stations is full.

If no stereo signal is detected during tuner installation, “ NO SIGNAL PLEASE CHECK ANT” will appear on the VFD.

To stop storing the automatic preset

Press 7 to stop storing the automatic preset.
