OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Temporary Tone - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

If you have a rotary (dial-pulse) tele- phone service, (TONE/PULSE setting is set to PULSE), this feature allows you to enter special codes and tones to oper- ate answering machines, use electronic banking services, calling cards, or other special services.

Note: If you have touch-tone service, (TONE/PULSE setting set to TONE), just enter the codes normally.

THE RINGER TYPE

1. Press PROG

2. Press # Key

3. Press A Number Key 1.2.3.4 to select a ringer type

4. Press MEM to confirm

The handset ringer is capable of four different types of ringing tones.

To program, the handset must be OFF.
