To replace a handset

To de-register all handsets

Press SELECT/MENU.

Press VCID twice to the base settings option.

Press SELECT/MENU.

Press ^DIR once.

Menu shows Delete Handsets, Press SELECT/MENU.

Display shows Del Registration of all handsets.

Press SELECT/MENU to confirm.

To re-register a handset

You can re-register handsets after de-registering them from the telephone base, or you can re-register them to a new telephone base if you have replaced your telephone base for any reason.

Make sure your handset battery pack is properly installed and charged.

The screen on the handset will initially show Not Registered.

Put the handset in the telephone base or a handset charger.

Press SELECT/MENU on the telephone base to bring up the main menu.

On the base unit, press ^DIR once and the screen will show Register Handset.

Press SELECT/MENU to confirm and the screen on the telephone base will show Registering Handset. After a brief moment, the handset will show Handset X registered and you will hear a confirmation tone (where X represents the handset just registered) when the entire process is complete.
