6 Personal settings

6.1Change the Handset Name

You can name the handset and display the handset name in idle mode. The default handset name of your handset is PHILIPS.

1Press Min idle mode, scroll

:to PERSONAL SET and

press mSELECT, press mSELECT to enter

HANDSET NAME.

2Edit the handset name

(maximum 12 characters) and press mOK to confirm.

A validation tone is emitted and the screen returns to previous menu.

6.2Handset Tones

6.2.1Set the Ring Volume

Danger

When setting the ring volume of your phone or when the handset rings during an incoming call, please do not hold the handset too close to your ear as the volume of the ringing tone may damage your hearing.

There are 5 levels of ring volume, including progressive volume.

1Press Min idle mode, scroll

:to PERSONAL SET and

press mSELECT, scroll :to

HANDSET TONES and press mSELECT. Press mSELECT again to enter RING VOLUME

2Scroll :to your desired volume level and press mOK to confirm.

A validation tone is emitted and the screen returns to previous menu.

Note

When the volume is set to off, the icon will be displayed on the screen.

6.2.2Set the Ring Melody There are 15 polyphonic ring

melodies available on your handset.

1 Press Min idle mode, scroll

:to PERSONAL SET and

press mSELECT, scroll :to

HANDSET TONES and press mSELECT. Scroll :to RING TONES and press mSELECT.

2Scroll :to your desired melody to play the melody.

3Press mOK to set the ring melody.

A validation tone is emitted and the screen returns to previous menu.

6.2.3Activate/Deactivate Key Beep

A single beep is emitted when a key is pressed. You can enable or disable the key beep. By default, the key beep is ON.
