Basic features

Making a basic call

For other ways of handling calls (including predialing), see page 25.

To dial a number

1.Lift the handset.

2.Enter the number using the dial pad.

To answer a call

1. Lift the handset.

To end a call

1.Hang up the handset or press ©.

To place a call on hold

1.Make or answer a call.

2.Press ˙.

3.Hang up the handset.

4.Lift the handset of this phone or an extension phone to retrieve the call.

Note: If a call is held for more than 15 minutes, it is automatically reconnected. If the handset is off the telephone, the caller can hear you again. If the handset is on the telephone, the call is released.
