To turn the 1 Answering machine ON or OFF

To switch between OGMs

Press and hold EXIT/ON-OFF button to turn ON the answering system.

ÖYou will hear, “Answering machine ON.” The display shows ANSWER ON and the MESSAGE light will light up.

Press and hold EXIT/ON-OFF button again to turn OFF the answering system.

ÖYou will hear, “Answering machine OFF.” The display shows ANSWER OFF and the MESSAGE light will turn off.

Note: Once turned OFF, you can still call the machine and it will answer after 15 rings.

Press and release EXIT/ON-OFF button to switch between OGM1 and OGM2.

ÖThe machine does not record messages with OGM2 (Announcement 2) selected; make sure OGM1 is selected if you want callers to leave messages.

To record a	You can record a memo directly into the
memo	machine. The length of the memo message
	recording depends on the MESSAGE LENGTH
	setting, see page 9.
	The memo message will be played back
	together with any messages from callers.
