Use the SPEAKERPHONE volume switch located on the right side of the Base unit to adjust the volume of the loudspeaker during playback.
If you hear the answering machine recording a message, you can intercept the call and speak to the caller, EITHER by:
Lifting the Handset,
or Pressing the SPEAKERPHONE button on the Base unit,
or lifting the Handset of any other phone connected to the same line.
When you have intercepted the call, the machine will stop recording the caller’s message.
If you intercept a call within 3 seconds of its start, you may sometimes need to press EXIT/
To delete the current incoming message;
During message playback, press ERASE button.
ÖThe display prompts DELETE?.
Press ERASE button again to confirm.
ÖAfter the erasure is complete, the numeric order of the remaining messages will be rearranged.
