Installing your BIG Button phone

The emergency services can be contacted in the UK by dialling 999. You may also dial 112, which is valid in any country that is a member of the European Community.

You may not be able to make an emergency call in certain situations:

If the telephone line is disconnected.

If there is a fault on the line from your phone or on the network.

If your BIG Button phone is connected to a PBX (switchboard), you may have to dial an access number before 999 to contact the emergency services.

Check that your

BIG Button phone is complete. When you unpack you should find:
