General key functions

Use the [LO HI] button to scroll through the menu of lists and through the entries in the Phone Book lists.

Press [FEATURE] to return to the previous display.

Press ￿ to exit from the Phone Book feature.

Press [HOLD] to save your programming and remain in the Phone Book feature.

Press {SAVE&EXIT} to save your programming and exit from the Phone Book feature.

Press {DELETE SYM} to delete the last character(s) or digit(s) you entered.

To dial a number from the Phone Book

(from idle state only)

1.Press ￿,￿when the telephone is idle.

2.Press {PRIVATE} or the softkey to the left of the system Phone Book list you want to access. If the system Phone Book list you want to access is not shown, use the [LO HI] button to scroll to the desired list.

3.Press {SHOW LIST}.

4.Use the [LO HI] button to scroll through the list until the name appears on the display.

5.Press the softkey on the left side of the appropriate name, under <DIAL>.

The Phone Book feature automatically dials the number for the first name in the displayed list.

If you want to see details of the entry before dialing the number, press the softkey on the right side of the appropri- ate name, under <DETAILS>, and the first name in the list appears. The display shows the name for the entry, the number of the speed dial bin (e.g. 003), where the entry is stored, and the telephone number for the entry.
