Icons for use in activating or programming features appear on the bottom line of the display and are activated by pressing the bottom softkeys on either side of the display, or the four softkeys across the bottom of the display - or by using the four direction cursor movement key to place the cursor on the appropriate icon and pressing ENTER.

The following list explains the meanings of the icons and when and where they appear on the display.
