Flash

 

The Flash feature is useful if you have subscribed to custom

 

calling services from your local telephone company. You press

 

FLASH instead of pressing the switchhook to activate services

 

such as call waiting or 3-way calling. You still have to dial

 

the codes provided by your local phone company.

Using Flash

Press FLASH , instead of the switchhook, when using

 

custom calling services.

If you have rotary service, you can change from pulse to tone dialing during a call by pressing . This is useful if you need to send tone signals for access to telephone banking or long- distance services.

Press and release

. All keys pressed after this will send

 

tone signals.

 

3After you hang up, the phone automatically returns to rotary service.

will not be stored in Redial .

Monitoring the Length of a Call

The built-in timer allows you to measure elapsed time. The phone displays time in minutes and seconds and automatically stops when you hang up.

Using the Timer

Press the soft key below Timer to start the Timer.

 

Press the soft key below Timer to stop the Timer.
