Safety information

Read and understand all instructions in the user’s manual. Observe all markings on the product.

Caution: To reduce the risk of fire or injury to persons or damage to the telephone, read and follow these instruc- tions carefully:

Use only supplied rechargeable battery (model 102) or AT&T replacement battery (model 103).

Do not dispose of the battery in a fire; it could explode. Check with local codes for special disposal instructions.

Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electro- lyte is corrosive and may cause damage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.

Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to create a short circuit with conductive materials such as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or conductor may over- heat and cause harm.

Charge the battery provided with or identified for use with this product only in accordance with the instruc- tions and limitations specified in this manual.

Observe proper polarity orientation between the battery and battery charger.

Avoid using a telephone during a thunderstorm. There may be a slight chance of electric shock from lightning.
