Automatic presetting

Up to 15 stations can each be set in the FM and AM bands.

Main unit only

1Press [INPUT SELECTOR] to select “FM” or “AM”.

2Press [-TUNE MODE] to select

“MANUAL”.

Each time you press the button: MANUAL()PRESET

3Press [X TUNING] or [TUNING W] to tune to the lowest frequency (FM: 87.50,

AM: 522).

[Southeast\Asia,\the\Middle\East,\South\Africa,\Saudi\Arabia\and\ \Kuwait\ : (AM: 522 or 520)

4Press and hold [MEMORY].

Release the button when “FM AUTO” or “AM AUTO” is displayed.

The tuner presets all the stations it can receive into the channels in ascending order.

“SET OK” is displayed when the stations are set. The last station to be set is then played.

“ERROR” is displayed when automatic presetting is unsuccessful. Preset the channels manually (page 27).

Selecting the preset channels

1Press [TUNER/BAND] to select “FM” or “AM”.

2Press the numbered buttons to select the

channel.

Alternatively, press [XCH] or [WCH].

To select a 2-digit number

e.g. 12: [S10] [1] [2]
