Setting the Alert Length
Your pager is preset to alert for about 30 seconds when you receive a message or to remind you of an unread message; however, you can set it to alert for 20 (“Short”), 32 (“Middle”), or 44 (“Long”) seconds. Follow these steps to change the alert length.
1.At the standby display, press M then repeatedly press 
until Set Options appears.

to select the desired setting.
4.Press M to store your selection. The standby dis- play reappears.
