When battery power becomes low, the pager sounds an alert every few seconds, Change Battery ap-

pears, and flashes on the display. Press any button to stop the alert. Depending on how often you use the pager, you should have about 3 days of battery power left when this low battery alert first occurs.

Notes:

If you press a button to stop the alert, the pager displays (and Change Battery instead of the time on the standby display) until you replace the battery.

The pager’s built-in memory stores messages and settings for at least 2 minutes while you change the battery or after the battery loses power.

Always dispose of old batteries promptly and properly; do not burn or bury them.
