Customizing Your V35

You can customize the settings of the V35 to your own preferences.

Tap Start, then tap Memory cards Settings. You can tap any of the icons on the Personal, System, or Connections tabs to customize your V35. The customization options are as follows:

PERSONAL

Buttons

Assigns your favorite programs to the program buttons,

 

 

and sets the repeat rate of the scroll dial.

 

 

 

 

Input

Sets the settings related to Block Recognizer, soft

 

 

keyboard, Letter Recognizer and Transcriber input

 

 

methods.

 

 

 

 

Menus

Selects the items that appear on the Start menu and the

 

 

New menu on the Today screen.

 

 

 

 

Owner

Save your personal information.

 

Information

 

 

 

 

 

Password

Sets the password to your V35 to protect the stored

 

 

data.

 

 

 

 

Sounds &

Sets the conditions and types of the sounds, system

 

Notifications

volume, and ways of notifications.

 

 

 

 

Today

Sets the items that appear on the Today screen.

 

 

 

SYSTEM

About

Shows information about the version of the operating

 

 

system, the name of the Pocket PC, and copyrights.

 

 

 

 

Backlight

Adjust the backlight of the display.

 

 

 

 

Clock

Sets the current time and alarm.

 

 

 

 

Memory

Adjusts the allocation of data and program storage.

 

 

 

 

Power

Show the remaining battery and external AC power, and

 

 

set the time for the V35 to turn off automatically.

 

 

 

 

Regional

Sets the region of your location, and formats for number,

 

Settings

currency, time and date.

 

 

 

 

Remove

Removes programs pre-installed in RAM.

Screen

Realigns the touch screen for accurate taps.
