SDRAM Memory Allocation

The V35 has 64 MB of SDRAM memory:

27.5 MB is used by the Pocket PC 2002 Operating System, applications, and drivers.

The remaining memory is available for user applications and file storage: 36.5MB for the USA and Europe V35 models and 29.5MB for the Asian V35 models.

NOTE: The USA and Europe V35 models have an additional 5.2 MB of Flash ROM memory available for file storage called "My Flash Disk."

This Flash ROM memory is available because the USA and European models languages require less space.

The Asian models do not have "My Flash Disk" memory available.

Before sending the V35 out for service, be sure to backup all data and remove all third party software.

With respect to all service provided, it is your responsibility to backup the contents of your V35, including any data you have stored or software you have installed on the V35. It is likely that the contents of your V35 will be lost in the course of service and ViewSonic will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of any programs, data or other information stored on any media or any part of any Product serviced hereunder.

IF DURING THE REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT THE CONTENTS OF THE V35 ARE ALTERED, DELETED, OR IN ANY WAY MODIFIED, VIEWSONIC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE WHATSOEVER. YOUR PRODUCT WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU CONFIGURED AS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF SOFTWARE).

Be sure to remove all third party hardware, software, features, parts, options, alterations, and attachments not warranted by ViewSonic prior to sending the product to ViewSonic for service. ViewSonic is not liable for any loss or damage to these items.
