Setting up a partnership
Immediately after you have completed the installation, the New Partnership wizard will start automatically to help you establish a partnership and customize your synchronization settings. At this point, you can decide exactly which types of information you would like to synchronize with your computer. Your first synchronization process begins when you finish using the wizard.
A partnership is a file that allows you to synchronize your device with your desktop computer. This file is stored on your desktop computer. An additional file that enables your desktop computer to recognize your device is stored on your device.
Checking synchronized information
After your first synchronization, take a look at Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks on your device. You will notice that the calendar information in Microsoft Outlook on your computer was copied to your device, and the information that you have on your device was copied to your computer.
NOTE Open Microsoft Outlook on your desktop computer to see the details of copied information from your device.
