CONNECTING THE SYSTEM

Connecting to the Phone Line

The System 2100 connects to your phone and phone line using four modular telephone line connectors. If your phone line does not have a modular jacks, you can update the wir- ing yourself using adapters available at your local Ra- dioShack store. Or, you can have the telephone company update your telephone wiring for you.

Notes:

If you connect the system to only one phone line, the system displays Caller ID information for only that line.

The USOC number of the jack to be installed is RJ11C (for a single-line phone jack) or RJ14C (for a two-line phone jack).
